I'm excited to share my news about Unspun: A Collection of Tattered Fairy Tales
Unspun was published today. This wonderful anthology is a great collection of tales about "after ever after."
I was the editor for this book, and I really enjoyed working with talented writers. It was also a delight to work with Ruth Nickle and Katherine Cowley who put this anthology together.
Snow White's son, the man who sold Jack the beans, Tatterhood, Gretel, the princess from Princess and the Pea, the Pied Piper--all these characters and others share their adventures about what happened after the end of the fairy tales that we know.
My story, "Ásthildur and the Yule Cat" is also one of the stories in this collection. (The origin country is Iceland, a place I have lived.)
